A car may be hired from one of the many car rental agencies in the region. Upon arrival, you may book a car at the agency at any time from 8 am to 11pm at most agencies. You may also have the car delivered to a particular location. In Barcelona, there are public car parks at the airport with space for nearly 13,000 cars. Car parks are located directly in front of each terminal. Terminal A and C are directly connected to the car parks via air-bridges. VIP parking in a secure car park, with collection outside each of the terminals, is also available. Taxi ranks are located outside the terminals. You may rent a car as soon as you arrive at the airport. Vehicle insurance will have to be paid in addition to the rental rate. Any vandalism like damage to locks, glass and tyres is the responsibility of the buyer and you should avoid drawing attention to your car.
